Uniform Patrol Division
The Patrol Operations Division is staffed by dedicated men and women of the Quincy Police Department. Our officers are highly trained and provide service consistent with the community oriented policing model. Our officers work twelve hour shifts and are assigned to one of two different shift assignments; those different assignments include days or midnights. During the course of a twelve hour tour of duty, officers are responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for service, crime prevention and control, misdemeanor case follow-up, traffic enforcement, crime scene management, juvenile crime follow-up, neighborhood enhancement assignments, as well as neighborhood watch programs.
We are proud of the men and women who serve our community and have dedicated themselves to a successful career in Law Enforcement. Our staff is focused on the youth in our community and have pledged to help make a serious, positive impact in their lives. In fact we have pledged to become the best small agency at handling youth issues, anywhere in the nation.
At the Quincy Police Department, we are serious about professionalism, respect and quality service to our community. We are currently engaging the members of our community to pledge their support to our neighborhood watch and neighborhood enhancement programs.
